School Begins Tuesday September 3rd

While the schedule for our kickoff week will be different than our regular schedule, attendance is required during Kickoff week, for both student and parent sessions! Please note the schedule for each program below:

 

Tuesday, Sept. 3rd

 

9:00 am-11:00 am - AC 7-12 students only. This will be a shortened first day with kick-off activities, including gathering curriculum, Chromebook checkout, and other activities to get classes set up and going.

• Students should bring their backpacks and a water bottle.
• All students in grades 11/12 must attend (including those who are full-time Running Start).

 

Wednesday, Sept. 4th

 

9:00 am-11:00 am- PREP students and parent. Each PREP student must be accompanied by a parent for this PREP kickoff event (no extra children during this event).

 

1:00 pm- *Mandatory all-school parent meeting

(Adults only, no students or extra children during this event)

 

5:00 pm- *Mandatory all-school parent meeting

(Adults only, no students or extra children during this event)

 

7:00 pm- *Mandatory all-school parent meeting

(Adults only, no students or extra children during this event)

 

*Parents must attend one of these meetings, but do not need to attend both.

 

Thursday, Sept. 5th

 

9:00 am-noon - LC Core 1-4 students and parent. Each LC Core student must be accompanied by a parent for this LC kick-off event (no extra children during this event). Kindergarten students will have individual check-in times with Ms. Jodi. See the final paragraph below.

 

1:00 pm-2:30 pm - Raven 9th Grade Connection (for all AC 9 students, returning and new).

 

1:00 pm-3:30 pm - LC remote students check-in with advisors (more information to follow about the set up of this check-in process).

 

 

Kick-off attendance is required by students. This is considered the first week of school. Parent meetings are mandatory to get started on the right path for the school year. See you all soon!
